Wix AI Agents & Automation: What It Is and How We Set It Up

Wix AI Agents & Automation is a set of AI features built into the Wix platform that ML Studios sets up and manages for clients. Think of it as a practical “marketing co-pilot” inside Wix: it helps generate ideas, drafts, and recommendations for SEO, blog content, social posts, email marketing, ads, and basic automations.


This is not a tool we built from scratch—Wix built it. Our value is in selecting the right agents, configuring them correctly, and connecting the outputs to a real website and marketing plan so the AI work turns into results.



What it is (in plain terms)


Wix AI Agents are Wix’s built-in AI helpers that can support:

  • SEO recommendations and on-page improvements

  • Blog topic + draft generation (SEO-friendly)

  • Social post suggestions

  • Email marketing ideas and drafts

  • Ads suggestions

  • Customer-facing support options like chat / front-desk assistance

  • Simple automations through Wix’s automation builder


At ML Studios, the core Wix AI feature we rely on most is the Wix Marketing Agent, because it touches the workflows that most directly grow traffic and leads.


Why we include it in our services


Most brands don’t need “more tools”—they need the right tools configured in a way that actually gets used.


Wix AI is powerful, but it’s easy to:

  • leave it unconfigured or misconfigured

  • generate content that doesn’t match your brand

  • miss the SEO basics that make content rank

How it works when you work with ML Studios


We support two types of clients:


Managed clients (we manage the tools for you)

For managed clients, ML Studios:

  • sets up Wix AI agents to match your site goals

  • configures automations and recommended workflows

  • reviews/edits AI output (SEO, blogs, emails, social drafts) as needed

  • helps publish and iterate based on performance


Basic setup clients (you use the tools day-to-day)

For basic setup clients, we:

  • configure Wix AI Agents & key automations

  • provide guidance on what to generate and how to use it

  • leave you with a system you can run to manage your website marketing


What we typically set up (our default configuration)


While every brand is different, our typical setup focuses on:

  1. SEO foundation (site structure + on-page basics)

  2. Blog workflow (topics → drafts → edit → publish)

  3. Email marketing workflow (drafts + campaigns)

  4. Social workflow (post ideas tied to offers + content)

  5. Automation basics (lightweight triggers that save time)


Important note: AI assists—humans decide


Wix AI Agents help you draft and plan faster, but they don’t replace strategy or quality control. ML Studios treats AI as an accelerator:

  • faster first drafts

  • faster iteration

  • more consistent output

…but decisions and final publishing still follow a real brand strategy.


Included access and subscriptions


All clients get access to Wix’s AI features as part of the Wix platform. For ML Studios managed clients, any required Wix subscriptions are typically included as part of the managed service plan (when applicable).
